Meet Our Amazing Dietitians

The Faces Behind Our Success

Hi I’m Alana, an Accredited Practicing Dietitian based on the Gold Coast. Growing up with food allergies, eczema and Crohn’s Disease made me value the importance of health and nutrition. It drove me towards wanting to help others achieve their health and nutrition goals. My goal is to provide clients with the most personalised nutrition approach whilst collaboratively working together, all underpinned by evidence-based practice.

If I’m not at work, you’ll most likely find me at the beach, the gym or snuggled in a blanket at home watching cringeworthy reality TV or reading.

My areas of interest include gut health (particularly IBS/IBD/Coeliac Disease), weight management and chronic disease prevention/management.

I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, from the Sunshine Coast, QLD. My main goal as a Dietitian is to empower my clients with the knowledge and tools to make small, sustainable changes that are tailored to their unique lifestyle. I am passionate about creating a positive experience for my clients and ensuring my approach is always realistic and flexible. As a Dietitian, I always aim to promote the message that health and nutrition does not have to be an ‘all or nothing’ approach. Instead, I believe that it should be treated as the key element to a balanced and enjoyable lifestyle. My current interest areas include gastroenterology and diabetes. Outside of being a Dietitian, I love exploring new hikes, swimming in the ocean, and catching up with mates for coffee!

I’m a dietitian on the sunny Gold Coast. Having struggled with eczema and food allergies since a young child, I have always had an interest in health and nutrition. It is from this that I decided to pursue a career in dietetics, with the aim of helping others reach their nutrition goals. I strongly believe that implementing small yet powerful healthy habits into your daily routine is the key to sustainable and long term health outcomes. The nutrition and dietetics world can be very overwhelming, so I am here to break it down and figure out what works best for you and your lifestyle.

Outside of being a Dietitian I love being at the beach, or hanging out with friends, family and my dog. And of course, food is my true passion, so I love eating out and going to the weekend farmer’s markets.

My areas of interest include sustainable weight loss, chronic disease, allergies/intolerances and sports performance nutrition.

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian who grew up in Toowoomba and the surrounding area. I am passionate about cooking, health and wellbeing, and empowering people to take control of their lives through food. My special interest areas include chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and lung disease. In addition, I have undertaken research investigating the vitamin and mineral requirements in patients having treatment for blood cancers. Finally, I am very enthusiastic about debunking nutrition myths and using the most up to date research and evidence-based practice to inform my consults. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family or walking my big beautiful husky.

I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, based in Townsville, North Queensland. Utilising evidence-based practice, I foster a positive environment to help support individuals achieve their health and nutrition goals. With a passion for sharing my food and nutrition knowledge I seek to be a valuable resource for people aiming to improve their overall well-being through sustainable lifestyle changes.

Whilst I treat all conditions within the dietetics field, my main interests are in gut health and sports nutrition. I believe that a well-balanced and nourishing diet is essential for overall well-being. Within these fields, I work with clients to create goals to improve gut health and enhance athletic performance. By staying up to date with the latest research and developments in both fields, I am able to provide evidence-based recommendations which are fundamental to my clients. My ultimate goal is to help individuals achieve their health objectives through fostering a positive relationship with food.

As a dietitian I use evidence-based guidelines to provide individual dietary and nutritional advice to clients who have medical conditions and set individual dietary goals with clients to work towards improving their lifestyle, health and quality of life. I am passionate about health and fitness and helping people improve their relationship with food. My interest areas include sports nutrition and the gut. I am a massive foodie and enjoy talking about all things food. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would have to be pasta.

With multiple years experience across a range of healthcare roles, I’ve found my passion supporting clients with chronic health conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular health and osteoporosis.

This passion has roots that extend far beyond my university education, originating from my personal experience with chronic health challenges. Having both personal and clinical experience, I understand physical and biological aspects of health as well as the mental and emotional aspects.

I craft personalised nutrition plans that not only address immediate health concerns but also prioritise long standing wellbeing and healthy ageing. With the focus being on supporting others to be happy and healthy over the long term.

Olivia is a newly graduated dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons). Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through running and going to the gym. Olivia is passionate about all things food-related, including cooking, trying new restaurants, and visiting farmers’ markets. She also loves walking her beautiful golden retriever, Archie. Professionally, Olivia is interested in sports dietetics, gut health, women’s health, and supporting people in maintaining their general health and well-being. Her passion for nutrition science stems from its relevance to everyday life. During her studies, she completed an honors research project investigating the dietary habits and patterns of children with Crohn’s Disease.

There are no two ways about it: I love food.

I also love sharing my knowledge of food and nutrition.

While not a long distance runner myself, I view nutrition and dietetic care as a long distance commitment where I can serve as your support crew: encouraging and re-energizing you along the way with individualized, research based guidance.

Special Interests – Gut health, Women’s health, and chronic disease prevention.

Personal interests – cooking, cafes, walking, travel and listening to true crime podcasts. (One day I might even add marathon running to this list!)

I am a dedicated dietitian in Cairns, QLD, having recently relocated from Melbourne, VIC. My passion lies in crafting personalized nutritional interventions to optimize my patients’ health, well-being, and help them achieve their ultimate nutritional goals. I firmly believe in the philosophy that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to nutrition.

The guiding principle I live by is, ‘Dietetics is not about making massive changes at once; it’s all about making small yet realistic positive changes in the long run.’ My professional interests span a wide range, including sustainable weight loss, addressing malnutrition, managing chronic diseases, and specializing in oncology.

Relocating to Brisbane as a newly graduated dietitian from The University of Newcastle, I am deeply interested in the sciences behind food and nutrition and how adequate nutrition can enhance performance and recovery.

I strive to ensure all clients feel welcomed, empowered, and confident throughout all consults and along their health journey.

I hold a deep passion for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities, chronic disease prevention, sports dietetics, and improvements in gut health.

When I’m not working as a dietitian, I enjoy triple jumping at my local athletics track and tending to my veggie garden. I am also a proud cat mom of two.
